The Magical Springtime energy always ushered me into a refreshing start to the “ New Me ” every year . When I was growing up in Melaka , Malaysia , my mom , Nyah , who grew up in the rice fields , used to tell me about the various seasons we go through . From a farming perspective — we have the plowing season , the planting season , the watering season , and the harvesting season . How well the land is plowed will determine the type of crop that can be planted on it , and how well the crop is watered and nurtured will determine the size of its bountiful harvest .
