Early in life, I learned from my 9 Moms to embrace history as is, that is, to celebrate successes and accept setbacks. They also taught me there are no failures in life; instead, knowledge is acquired, and wisdom is gained. Failures only occur when I give up and do not utilize the setback moment as a pivotal turning point for an excellent comeback. Over the years, my moms showed me how to use the experiences and information I have accumulated as assets, not liabilities, for creating the future I envision.
The recent launch of my heart-centered and passion-driven“ The 15th Anniversary Special Edition From My Mama’ s Kitchen ~“ food for the soul, recipes for living” My 9 MOMS- Conversations about Life, Love and Laughter” to celebrate next month’ s Mother’ s Day, gave me a chance to reminisce all the inspiring and empowering words of wisdom I have learned throughout my life from the kitchen table moments with my various moms.
One of the most impactful life lessons I learned from my 9 Moms is that regardless of the enormity of any setbacks, I am to always use every morning as a new, fresh, clean sheet of paper to design whatever I want for the day, week, and month to look like. I should never fear looking at the blank canvas of life before me but rather view it as an opportunity to create a Masterpiece I envision manifesting.
Amazingly, this simple yet profound practice of a refined“ do over” helped me create my proprietary experiential executive career & life coaching and mentoring programs 15 years ago when I launched my third career. The icing on the cake is my most requested keynote and workshop presentation, Resilience ~“ Designing Our Life to Live and Perform in Our Genius Zone!” The topic ' s popularity led me to create the From My Mama’ s Kitchen ® Genius Zone Educational Platform Community Enrichment Programs.
Its core energy is“ Personal Success Begins at Home,” as“ Home” represents us, as individuals, and also our family and loved ones, our neighborhood, and our community. From a corporation perspective,“ Home” is the company and its corporate culture, its leadership at all levels, and its employees.
