Happy August, everyone! Since it is my favorite month of the year, I am nothing but smiles as I welcome it! In addition to celebrating my birthday this month, I am delighted and excited to be able to honor my 9 Moms beyond my wildest imagination.

In late April, my heart-centered and passiondriven special edition book From My Mama’ s Kitchen ~“ food for soul, recipes for living” My 9 MOMS- Conversations about Life, Love, and Laughter won the Book Excellence Awards. This prestigious recognition gave me the opportunity to have this special edition book and my picture, lol, showcased on a massive billboard in the heart of Times Square in New York City on Saturday, August 15th.

I am extremely excited and humbled about this event, which will certainly take the From My Mama’ s Kitchen ® brand to the next level of success. I also learned that this public

presentation will inevitably lead to more publicity for the book and me. Its timing is a perfect layup for the launch of the From My Mama’ s Kitchen ® Genius Zone Educational Platform Community Enrichment Programs later this fall, leading into 2027.

To some, it may seem silly, but I always get a little sentimental in my birthday month. I can’ t help but reminisce about the good old celebration my Malaysian mom, Nyah, prepared for me. She
