Happy March , Everyone ! Spring is right around the corner , and it is a refreshing thought to look forward to . This month is also International Women ' s History Month , which serves as an excellent reminder of women ' s contributions to the betterment of society and culture and , most importantly , within the home we all grew up in !

This year ’ s theme designated by the National Women ’ s History Alliance is “ Moving Forward Together .” At its core , it is about “ women educating and inspiring generations .” It brings the spotlight to acknowledge the women who have dedicated their lives to educating , mentoring , and leading future generations to achieve excellence in their lives .

In my life ’ s journey , I have been extremely fortunate and blessed to have had nine extraordinary women who have nurtured and nourished my heart , mind , body , and spirit from the day I was born to becoming the person I am today . These ladies , whom I proudly called my 9 Moms , were my teachers , coaches , counselors , and cheerleaders . They helped me navigate life and understand that self-empowerment begins with embracing the power of unconditional love . The resulting courage gives birth to a heartcentered confidence , which naturally ushers in a passion-driven leadership tendency . As for the icing on the cake , I am never to forget to laugh , as I always need to find humor in everything I do .

In honor of my 9 Moms and fueled by the synergy of an inspiring and empowering mindset , Inspirations for Better Living digital Magazine was conceived in May 2021 to help further expand the concept that “ Personal Success Begins at Home ,” which is within us all . From our first edition to the current one , our women expert contributors have utilized the Magazine ’ s platform to share their
