Her advice has helped me overcome fear , frustration , and uncertainty as I look forward to experiencing a better future whenever I encounter unexpected setbacks . In return , I have been significantly rewarded for embracing the power of positive thinking and talking my way to success as I excel to the next level of personal excellence .

My Southern-Belle mom , Eleanora , says it best - perseverance and patience will always lead us to overcome personal self-inflicted anxiety . Eleanora believes that “ You should never be afraid to change your mind . It shows maturity , intelligence , and character to admit mistakes rather than stand firm on an ill-informed decision .”

My Italian Foster mom , Carol , in her many wise and logical approaches to situations , would remind me that “ Time is a luxury , and having faith that the right thing will come along at the right time and in the right way is a belief I should make room for in my life .” Her advice has helped me to pass on opportunities that initially looked perfect but eventually unraveled after failing to endure the test of time .

As I reflect upon my younger years ( teenager , college , and early working life ), I am now realizing how much my success begins at home as “ Our Home is the First Classroom We are all Enrolled in !” My moms ( Nyah , Eleanora , and Carol ), in their unique ,

articulate ways , were my best teachers , coaches , counselors , and cheerleaders . Collectively , they helped me take many leaps of faith and have me landing sturdily on my two feet each time as we celebrated the joy I experienced .

The reflection and resetting of ourselves leads to self-empowerment . We are now letting our curiosity turn chaos into peace . The clarity produces a creative mindset , giving us the courage to act quietly and confidently . When we live in the moment , we can celebrate successes as they occur , and the perpetual synergy of success , harmony , and joy will inspire us to continue to dream , achieve , and become . As a result , we are flowing with life ' s rhythm and with optimized social-emotional intelligence skills . We are now living in the sweet spot of life - “ Our Genius Zone !”

One last thing : our past doesn ' t define us regardless of age or where we are in our life journey . Positive changes originate from the inside out . We can change our situation to live and experience the happiness , blessings , and abundance we envisioned at any time we choose to do so . All we need to do is to take a moment and reflect on what was , then reset our sight to what it is that we want it to be !
