Celebrating Women’ s History Month-

Together We Thrive and Succeed!

by JOHNNY TAN
Happy March, Everyone! Standing on the cusp of Spring, we are also celebrating women’ s contributions to our world’ s history, culture, and society. I have been extremely fortunate to have had nine extraordinary women who have nurtured and nourished my heart, mind, body, and spirit from the day I was born to becoming the person I am today. I am forever grateful for these ladies, my 9 Moms, who were my teachers, coaches, counselors, and cheerleaders. They profoundly impacted my life with the power of unconditional love, helping me navigate life and, most importantly, always reminding me to laugh by finding humor in everything I do.
This year’ s Women’ s History Month theme is“ Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.” At its core, it broadens our understanding of sustainability beyond the environment to include financial sustainability, community resilience, leadership succession, and intergenerational equity. The theme asserts that shaping a sustainable future requires building systems that support both people and the planet.
International Women’ s Day on March 8th has the theme“ Give To Gain,” emphasizing the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, it is not a subtraction; it ' s intentional multiplication. Whether through donations, knowledge, resources, infrastructure, visibility, advocacy, education, training, mentoring, or time, giving helps create a more supportive and interconnected world.
We at From My Mama’ s Kitchen ® Org have always been excited to do what we can to lead the change toward building a better world, believing in giving and sharing our knowledge and wisdom to help establish a lasting legacy of love for future generations to benefit from and carry forward.
Honoring my 9 Moms and empowered by the understanding that“ Personal Success Begins at Home” and that moms are the COOs, if not the CEOs, of their families, Inspirations for Better
